Thanks Stirling .-

My client is in the middle of a big production run. I will have to wait until next year to track down the problem. It could possibly be user error because the CADscript print interface looks quite a bit different.

It's good to know that the page setup parameters haven't changed.

My client is plotting to an HP1055CM - but it's always worked for him. It's just this last version that doesn't work.

Hi Anna,

It is odd that the
old version seems to work. There has
been no change to the page setup parameters in the PostScript output for many
years. Note that the version in which the DGN was created should pay no part in the problem.

I do know that there
was a firmware problem with the HP1055CM printer we have come across in the
past to do with page configuration. It has been a while but from memory one problem was that it would output a whole A0 sheet even if only an A4 page was being printed. There may be other problems. If you have another large format HP printer model to test the same PostScript files to see if it exhibits the same problem, you can determine if this the printer at fault.

Failing that the best option would be
to collect plots (of a small file size) from each version of CADscript and send onto support with this description. We could then compare the
PostScript manually, just to be sure there is not a problem in the output.

One last thought is to check the page size settings on the printer is configured to
“Inked Area”.

HTH,

Stirling.
