I've just installed InRoads (SS4) 08.11.09.878. Everytime I open the program I'm able to choose a file to open in the Open File dialog but then the program crashes.
I'm running MicroStation V8i (SS4) 08.11.09.838. The reason is that this MS release is listed as a dependency for the latest Bentley Map, version 08.11.09.763, and in my day-to-day work I mostly use Bentley Map.
But now I need to use InRoads for a project that I'm working on and there probably will be more of these in the future so I'm gonna need to work more with InRoads. However, as said above, launching InRoads only takes me to File Open dialog and no further than that. Does anyone know a solution?
I noticed that listed as dependency for the InRoads version I've installed is MicroStation 08.11.09.832. Is it a possibility that InRoads 08.11.09.878 does not run with MicroStation 08.11.09.838?
Or is the solution maybe to remove all installed Bentley programs, folders, files and registries and install it again?

Bjorn, There is a possibility that the dependencies or MicroStation versions on your computer have not been updated properly. Please review this article and follow those recommendations to see if that corrects the problem: Installing MicroStation V08.11.09.832 on a machine that has a previous version of MicroStation installed.
