Hello,
i want migrate to use MS SLQ Spatial (Graphical Sources), for this i create steps:
1: import my data to *.shp files, and after import *.shp files to MS SQL (via FME)
2: added to new-imported tables field "PKID" (primary key) and create table MSCATALOG (insert data to fields "tablemame" and "entitynum")
After in "Geospatial Administrator" select Graphical Sources i successfully connect to DB and can "Register Features",
create new dgn-file and receive data from DB to new layers (steps):
1: Map Manager - create new Map Definition (in current model)
2: Map Interoperability - open Graphical source - click Query (change field "Spatial Extend" from View->All) - click mouse on view (and all data from query loads)
I Finally see my map on view, i can add new-elements to exists (and can successfully POST him to DB), but after RECEIVED from DB i can't edit/delete elements ... (only added new)..
when i want edit/delete - i click "Unlock" (in Spatial Tools), and after i can't select any elements...
Maybe anybody can help me, and suggest that I missed ? I will be very grateful and thank you for your time!
Sergey,
After performing a query from your graphical source, you must "Lock" the feature instances you wish to edit or delete, then "Post" the changes to your spatial database.
