Export to KML: Is there an element count or file size limitation?

I have 56906 point elements (zero length line) and 56972 text elements in a 2D dgn file.

When I try exporting this dgn to KML format, Bentley Map EnterpriseV8i SS4, the process continuously runs without any end result (output kml file) for several hours.

I am forced to end the process.

The dgn file is 5 MB in size.

I was wondering if there are any known issues with the export to kml, such asof number of elements (count) in dgn file!
