synchronize google earth pro with Microstation

When I try to synchronize Google Earth Pro with Microstation it just closes an open Google Earth Pro and opens it again. Google Earth Pro stays at the initial open scale showing whole world. Using Google Earth Pro version 7.1.8.3036 and Microstation  8.11.09.867.

This problem has persisted through previous version of Microstation and Google Earth. I have tried downloading previous versions of Google Earth with no luck.

    I just installed both of those versions, MicroStation first then Google Earth Pro, and the two Synchronize commands worked properly.
    Google Earth Pro version 7.1.8.3036
    MicroStation 8.11.09.867

    Check your Registry to make sure there isn't an older Google Earth or Google Earth Pro Key that MicroStation is catching. Should only be: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Google\Google Earth Pro currentVersion 7.1.8.3036
