How is graphic cells treated under a coordinatetransformation

Graphic cells can cover a large area, so what happens during a coordinattransformation.

Will the Cell be transformed vertex by vertex or is the cell just moved, rotated and perhaps scaled according to the coordinattransformation.

Please refer to the "Reprojection Settings Dialog" section of the MicroStation V8i online help for additional information on how to control transformation of spatially large cells.

I read my response and it was a vague. Graphical cells are treated as GIS point types. The same is true for text elements

Graphic cells are rotated, scaled, transformed, and placed at the defined point of cell origin. All other graphical sub-elements are thus anchored to this cell origin.
