I do have the msdefault.shx in C:\ProgramData\Bentley\MicroStation V8i (SELECTseries)\WorkSpace\System\Fonts. Is that correct?

Map: 08.11.09.713

I'm starting from scratch with little training. I've been working with MicroStation and Geopak for a number of years. I started a new position in GIS and we are working in Arc Pro and exporting to print in MicroStation. Inga sent me a link to the videos in the Bentley Learn page, but I need some more instructions. Do you have any good learning paths for setting up in Map?

This is something that is caused or fixed by the GSA. The variable MS_FONTPATH should point to the folder with the msdefault.shx.
Check whether the file msdefault.shx is available in the workspace folder ..\workspace\System\Fonts\ (that is were this variable most likely points to). Maybe you are using a workspace from an older MS version.
