HI:
I use Bentley Geospatial administrator to define the features. I want to define the point-text's width/height. but the some features of symbology puzzle me .including scale/stylescale/overridescale/height ajustment scale/. is there any documents about whole explanations of these words ? In Bentley Map help documents ,i can't find the explanations.
Thanks!

Hello,
There is an unresolved TR (# 239617) regarding processing of text Height and Width values specified in the Symbology panel. I suggest using a TextStyle to set your height and width.
The "Height Adjustment Scale" is a scale applied to the text height value after the Height value is set either from the TextStyle or the Height symbology item and "Scale" and "ApplyDrawingScale" symbology items are applied.
Regards,
Chris
HI
Thank you for your explanations.
Height Adjustment Scale property is defined in the symbology panel by clicking the item "textstyle" and inserting the item "Height Adjustment Scale".
If i want to set the font height and width of point-text, how to to it? The reason i ask the question is because i can not make it by inserting a width/height item after right-click on the "TextStyle" item of symbology panel. There must be some mistakes I have made.
Can you give some advice? Thank you .
Let me try to shed some light on some of these:
scale
This will scale the text by a decimal factor after the text size, defined by the TextStyle has been applied to the text. This along with the drawing scale ( if used) can affect the final size of the text.
stylescale.
Style scale applies to the linestyle that you have defined for the element ( see Style). Normally, this is not used in text elements, but can be applied. When used is scales, by a decimal value, the linestyle applied to the element. If you do not need this then I normally set the style to 0 ( solid) and the style scale to 1.
override scale
This overrides the drawing scale, set up universally for the session. For this feature, the overrides scale will be used. These coma from the scales definnition defined in the User Workspaces->workspace->scales node. If you do not want to use this, leave it blank.
height adjustment scale
Sorry , I do not see this in the symbology node for the point-text feature. Not sure what you are talking about here.
