Hello,
I'm looking for some scripts to detect problems with complex shapes (duplicating shape, superposed geomery between shapes, or hole between shapes) like anomaly of topologic rules.
Can you help me to find it ?
Thanks in advance
best regards
DoM
Hello Dominique, you can use Topology Cleanup tools from Bentley Map (Tools > Geospatial > Topology Cleanup). Those tools will analyze topology of linework before creation of the shapes. To analyze complex shapes elements, you can use "Design File Cleanup" tool provided by MicroStation (MDL LOAD CLEANUP).
I hope that helps.

Thanks a lot,
It's so crazy to never saw before this tool box !!!!
I study this tool but according to my request some objects are not listed.
Could you explain me why some complex shapes are not listed into "duplicate" especially when they are built using "free shapes" (opposite rectangular, circle,...) ?
Can you please upload your file to this secure link: https://bentley.sharefile.com/r-r773018eb4c340fba
We can then take a closer look at it. Thank you.
I share my file wich is very simple. I wonder why if i create a polygon with 6 sides and after want create a complex shape inside the polygon it creates :
- a complex shape with a broken line limit
If i create another complex shape, superposed of the other one, it creates :
- a complex shape, with one broken line and 3 other lines.
???
It looks like when i used that a complex shape create by a shape will first have a broken line like limit and another one superposed creates broken line and lines combined for limit.
In the other hand, circlesor ellipses never create other things than arcs for limit of complex shapes
Finally a block, rectangular shape list in define elements for the same actions done only borken lines whatever for complex shapes limits
