Hi,
I'm helping a customer to move from Bentley Map for MicroStation SS2 to SS4 using a Oracle Spatial data source.
I guess there might be some changes so I upgraded the GSA xml and exported the workspace. When I try to open the defined graphical source using Map Interoperability nothing happens. No error, no nothing except the named of the graphical source displayed. Same thing with the saved .orax files.
I can still connect using the SS2 client so obviuosly not very much has changed in the xml files.
Any ideas what might be missing? Any new requirements on the database, tables, indexes etc?

Some additional information.
I saw in FAQ that the recommended workflow is to re-register all database features. The problem is that when I try do that GSA wants to remove all my existing features.
We have A LOT of configuration, espacially changing symbology depending on attributes so we want to keep that.
Also, no problem connecting to the database or Reading raw data using a plain Oracle Connection
PS. The online help for Bentley Map stalls. Almost impossible to navigate.

Have you tried turning on "Nonspatial Features"?
Please ensure you have a current backup of your schema before re-registering your features.
If you're having trouble accessing help via docs.bentley.com, take a look in the ...\Program Files (x86)\Bentley\...\Documentation folder and open the chm file that corresponds to your Map product.
As a last note, the information in Help was poorly written. I'll be sure to update that for the next release.
Hi Inga,
I'll give it a try next week and get back to you!
Ok, now I've tried checking "Non Spataial features". In this case the existing features are ignored but the tables are discovered and listed as new features. All settings for the existing features losts.
