Hello, can somebody help me choosing proper Bentley software? I have worked in MicroStation and PowerDraft CONNECT Edition, and I am thinking about switching to Map PowerView CONNECT Edition. Basically, I do detail classification and 3D vectorization based on laser points. For that, I am using Terrasolid's Terrascan application. My question is, can I continue doing that with Map PowerView because I saw that some functions are the same for these programs (Tasks palette) and it can work with Terrascan but the interface is more similar to GIS programs. I'm trying to find cheaper software but to keep most of the Microstation functions. Please share your experience.

The TerraScan software is tested with the Map PowerView CONNECT Editions, as you can see on their website: https://www.terrasolid.com/ssl/download_software.php
The amount of MicroStation tools are limited in the PowerView software, so you should confirm which commands you use and need before adopting the new platform. We can pursue this further in a Service Request if you would like. You should also consult the TerraScan Support group to verify the same with them.
