  • It's not clear how you are connecting to PostgreSQL and what you expect to see.

    PostgreSQL (PostGIS) is a method of storing geometry and properties in spatial tables in a similar fashion to Oracle Spatial and SQL Server. To connect to a spatial database, you need to create a graphical source via the Geospatial Administrator

    If your spatial  tables are set up correctly, they will be recognized as features that can be registered.  To do that, choose Register Features from the right click menu and follow the Register Features wizard.

    Registered features are added to All Users > Features node for further customization:
