I am using Open Cities Geospatial Administrator to create Open Cities Map projects. I want to locate the project workspace and workset on a network location. The Workspaces Root Directory field offers me the solution to do so, but the <workspacename>.cfg is still locally created in C:\ProgramData\Bentley\Map CONNECT Edition\Configuration\WorkSpaces. This gives me problems because most of our client workstations are virtual or sealed images on which I am not allowed to write. Beside that, when creating a project, I want to create projects for the whole department, but by writing the cfg file to my computer it is only accessible for me.
Is ther a way to tell Open Cities Map to write the entire workspace and workset, including cfg files to the network?

The easiest way to do this is to install Map on the local machines, then copy the installed workspace components onto the server.
It may be easier to grab the entire /workspace/ folder from the local machine and copy it to the server. This will include the items installed with Bentley Map.
Use the Geospatial Administrator's Workspace Root Directory to point to the new (network) location, as you have done.
