Export more than 1 feature to shape files

Question

It is possible to export more than 1 feature to shape files? 
 I want to export a few features. Do i have to export one at time and then get them together later?

 Use the Add Shapefile directory... option in the Map Imports/Exports dialog box. Then choose the Features to export from the list:
