In the Map Manager you can create a join between a layer and a CSV file. In the Define Joins dialog, create a Session Feature from the CSV file using the option New File Source ... As Jan already mentioned, there should be a join column between the imported CSV file and the CSV file with the attributes.

Hi Christian,

thanks for the files. It's not clear how they can be joined (linked) together, because I do not see any unique ID. What columns should be used as "link"? Or is it organized in such way that a row is equal to row in 1:1 relation?

I quickly check VRT format description and I still think that it's not possible to define relationships between different data sources. And even when it would be possible (maybe some "VRT expert" will find a solution), I am not sure whether it will be the right way.

I recommend to process CSV files upfront, which allow to check data quality and to filter and reorganize data to obtain required data format. To link and join CSV files can be done in many ways, you can find plenty of discussions on internet, from simple command line approach over Excel to specialized tools. I think e.g. csvkit is simple but powerful tool.

The image is the result of my work as a designer of expropriations on autoca that I would like to 
import into Opencitiemaps.
Once the points have been entered I would like to create a feutors that automatically creates the 
circled numbers for me.

I am attaching the two files you need for the test, as you can see I have highlighted in red the similar parts, the things I should report is all that is on the "particles" file, instead what you find on the basis I should only use the coordinates.

The best way to know for sure is to test the application with your files. You can attach them here, or open a New Service Request for the OpenCities Map product, to share and work with files.

at first, can you please remove formatting before you posted text? It seems you copy / paste text directly, so it's converted to "on line code" paragraph, which is hard to read. Paste it e.g. to Notepad at first and copy/paste it from Notepad as pure text.

I think it's not possible, but I do not know VRT features in details.

You can merge (union) more data sources in VRT, but it's expected they are independent and will be merged, not linked together.

To understand the situation better, can you share an example of your CSV files to show, how data are linked? Is there e.g. the same id used for coordinates (CSV 1) and cadastral data (CSV 2). Or is there any other method used how data from one file can be assigned to the right data in the second one?

Good evening Dan, I tried the string you indicated, and it works, but my basic problem is that I have two distinct CSVs, one with the cadastral data, but without coordinates, and another with only the coordinates, I wanted to know if in the VRT there is the possibility to mix the two CSVs to have a point with the coordinates. Thanks for your patience

This is accomplished with the Import CSV command in OpenCities Map. Are you familiar with that? If not, have a look at the online resources that describe the functionality. The option to define a symbol (cell) can be done at the time of import. Labeling the parcels can be achieved after they are on the map.
