I set a value for the MS_GEOIMPORT_PATH variable, path is used/set for Exports but not for Imports.
Isn't it suppose to work for both Import and Export?

There are two variables now, beginning in Map Update 16, one for Import, and another for Export.
In the Map CONNECT Edition, the changes take place immediately, so you don't have to exit the DGN File or restart Map to refresh the UPF file.
