Hi,
I am trying to export a file DNG to a file SHP following your methodology " Export to Shapefile in Bentley Map":
communities.bentley.com/.../25794.export-dgn-file-data-to-shapefile-format
The problem is, the "Export > GIS data Types" is not available on my session ( as shown in the pictrure).
Moreover, when I open the 'map interoperability' , the "export" option is hidden too.
Could you help me to fidure out why?
Thank you,
Hi Theo,
You should post questions related to Bentley map in the OpenCities Map Forum https://communities.bentley.com/products/geospatial/desktop/f/bentley-map-forum#pifragment-26380=1
are you sure that you are working on Bentley map and no other software like maybe Bentley Map PowerView?
I suppose that if you are using Bentley Map PowerView as this is a viewer you will not be able to export anything as it should be for viewing and markup. See https://docs.bentley.com/LiveContent/web/OpenCities%20Map%20Help-v2.1.1/en/GUID-5B53F925-8F85-52ED-5FD4-055A59D657C8.html

Plain MicroStation does not have this ability. You need Bentley MAP, or possibly one of the Civil packages.

Welcome to the world of Bentley and their confusing product names where Power products are less powerful than their counterparts.Correct name should be "Powerless View"
There are two online resources that could have helped in this case:
