Hi
I have made a program in VBA that takes an old design file with tags and convert it to Xfm features and properties. I use the xft object to travel trough the designfile so in this process there is created a sessionbased XFM definition, where all Features (=levels in the designfile) is defined with no properties. During the process I read the tags and ads them as properties to the features.
Unfortunally it seems that the sessionbased XFM is stored within the designfile, so even after closing and reopening of the xfm based designfile I cannot use the Databrowser to locate features from it properties.
To the question: How do I remove the sessionbased XFM definition in the dgn file or how do I force a refresh of it ??
Hopefully somebody knows the answer :o)
TIA

Hello Erik,
XFM does not store feature definitions in the design file. Instead feature definitions are inferred from the first found instance of a new feature class in the file. I suspect that XFM encounters some element without properties on the same level as you used for your converted features. Do you delete the original elements and tags? If still having trouble, please post a code sample.
