Can it be correct that XFM features and properties are stripped off when merging a XFM based dgn-fil into an empty seedfile ??
Or are there something that I have misunderstood ??

BUT "fence file", "Fence Separete" the copy/move command in the Fence tool box does strip of Features and Properties,. Only "Fence Copy " where you have to give at start point and a copy to point seem to work.
We will be most disappointed if this error continues to exist in the upcoming version in Q3, infact we have set the use of XFM on-hold until the error is removed.
There is a workaround in that you can fence copy your features into the active DGN file from the reference file. Fence copy does copy the properties as expected.
