Dear
I have got a design file. The design file have multi models, can I create a thematic map from all models, and how to do that?
thanks very much
While you have your design model open in Bentley Map, go to File > Map Manager in the menu. If you already have Map Manager open, press the "New" button in the upper left corner of it.
Then you'll see a dialog box that prompts you to create a new map model, give it a name, and decide if you want your design model attached to the new Map Model.
Create a new Map Model from each of your Design Models and then you can use Map Manager to apply thematic symbology to each one.
thanks Kim
I am understand your help. But my design file have two or more models. I want create Map model reference to all data from every models.
In the case of multiple models, like you have, create one model, attach the other models as references, and then create a map model from that model. This should cascade all other reference files ( models) that are attached to the composite model.

...after creating a map model, you can simply use "Attach By Reference" in the Map Manager with "Attachment Method: Interactive" to attach your active design file to itself, selecting any model from the active file for attachment. This process can be repeated for as many models as desired.

thanks everyone.
with your help I can do it. Now I have other question for you. "How to create Thematic Map by special extent from models" as example
So you want to only apply the thematic map to the area defined ? Why not limit the reference files when attaching ??
Sorry about that. In limiting the reference files, I should explain better. Once those files are attached, by either means, you need to use the clip reference tool in the reference file form. Create the fence for clipping and then once the reference form is open, select all the files, from the list you want to clip.
thanks Jerry very much.
