Praveen,

In order to use Bentley Map with OWM including long transactions (e.g. versions), optimistic transactions and reconcilliation, you must have access to a Bentley ProjectWise Connector for Oracle Spatial client license. Please refer to the Using Oracle Spatial Versions in Bentley Map documentation for additional information.

From reading thru the thread, I believe you are correct. I assume you are using the Oracle Spatial connection thru Map, by going to the File->Open Oracle Spatail feature and that you have the Oracle Spatial connection setup, registered features, etc. via the GSA.

No. You do not need PW or the connector to create Oracle Spatial versions and use reconnicilation. You need the license to create optimistic versions of the Oracle Spatial data, but you do not need the Connector Software.

Yes, Oracle Workspace Manager is required and we have tested Bentley Map for use with OWM up to version 11.2.0.0.2 which is available with Oracle 11gR2 beta, but should also work with OWM delivered with Oracle 11g R1 as well.

You must have access to a valid ProjectWise Oracle Connector client license to use that functionality from within Bentley Map.
