Hi, I have a dgn file that I am trying to creat a Thematic Map from. In my Design Model file there is one level with all the geometry witch is both Shapes and Cells (grouped holes). When I create a new Map Model In Map Manager then this single level is splitted in to two different layers, the shapes stays on the original layer but a new layer is created in the list named "Level_0" and in it are all my grouped holes.
I can create the Thematic map ok but I have to do it twice on each Layer. I am using the Select Series 1 version but I have also notised this behavior in erlier verions of BM.
Any ida whay BM is splitting my data like this on to 2 layers?
regards
karl
Here is a link to the data (dgn + access).

The level I am trying to create a thematic map from is in the Default model and the level name is SHP.
Model named MapModel1 is the one I have created with the Map Manager and there you can see that all the "Cell Poligons" are on Layer named "Level_0" but in the Microstation level display dialog they are still on level SHP.

I see what you describe in the Bentley Map V8i (SELECTseries 1) release candidate. The good news is that this bug has been fixed in soon to be released Bentley Map V8i (SELECTseries 1). In this new version, I tried your dgn and see the grouped holes in the "shp" layer and see no elements in the "Level_0" layer.
