display x y z coordinate

hi all,

 

i am new to bentley products.

could anyone tell me how to see the coordinate xyz when we draw or model objects. it is hard for me to identify the coordinate compared to other CAD products.

  • simply go down in the window pane then right click and check the running coordinates, you will see the coordinate bellow...

  • In addition to the Running Coordinates, you can setup the display to read the Geospatial Coordinate System of the Design File.  Use a combination of the Auxilary Coordinate System and the ACS Position settings as shown here:

    1.  Select Tools | Coordinate Systems | ACS > Auxilary Coordinate Systems.  Double-click on the GCS name below the horizontal rule bar to make it active.

     2.  Left-click on the Running Coordinates and select the ACS Position option:

    3.  Refine the Angle Readout with the Design File Settings.  Select Settings | Design File... Angle Readout and adjust to your needs.
