We just aquired Bentley Map select series 1. We have data from Microstation geographics project with Access as our database. We undertand Bentley Map supports Oracle database of which being used by our MIS Dept.( Management Information System). As we tested the connectivity between BM and oracle has no problem but our problem now is to migrate our data into Oracle and to be able to link the graphics element into the database table.
We just had tried Migrating the data but with no success, the mslink that was stored in access table which is link to the element is not recognized in the Oracle database
Can you give us a step-by-step procedure on how to go about it? or is it posible?

You mentioned that the mslink filed was not reconized by Oracle, could you please give us the data definiton for theis field , in ACcess ? Normally this field is a unsigned integer or a whole number. Usually the migration to Oracle should not be hard, just matters how the original data was set up.
If you are going to use the spatial extensiopn to Oracle and store the graphics into the Oracle database also, then using the DGN2SDO application that comes with Bentley Map, will generate the scripts needed to create and populate the tables in Oracle.
