In Bentley Map V8i SS1 I am trying to use the Grid Generator and Grids and Graticules tools. I've tried various modles with different coordinate systems defined and will get one of two different errors/warnings and no grids.
1. Linear/angular unit mixup
2. Datum or Ellipsoid change implies different Latitude/Longitude standard. Grid generation is not advised.
What causes these to appear, and what can I do to get around them?

Hi Nick,
The TR I entered wasn't fixed because the people on worked on it couldn't reproduce the problem. More specifically, the quality assurance analyst checked it with the build 08.11.07.37 but didn't succeeded in reproducing it.
So no fix has been done.
I'll reopen the TR and notify the people responsable for Bentley Map.

Can someone recommend a version of Bentley Map to use, that doesn't have this problem? When is 08.11.09.xx version due to be release?

At the moment we are still using MicroStation GeoGraphics but would love to use a V8i version of Bentley Map instead.

It seems that the two people who check the problem weren't able to reproduce it. So it is currently closed.
Mathieu Malenfant is the developper who checks the TR, Maybe you can communicate with him to give more information for him to be able to reproduce the problem.
As for the datum transformation parameters I'll check with one of my colleague.

Trouble report 296200 has been filed in regard to this problem and is being addressed.

Seems to be a problem in the software. It's scheduled to be fixed in the 08.11.09.xx release.
