Hi
It seems that the reprojection of WMS services are a couple of 100 meters off:
First we have a designfile in coordinate system DKTM3 with WMS background in DKTM3 that fits okay it a 25K topographic map:
Then we have the same designfile in DKTM3 but now we chose WMS service in UTM32:
Now the houses are quite a bit off.
The Raster manager looks this:
I have placed the designfil, the two xwms files for the WMS services and the coordinatesystem addendum in a zip file called WMS_Reprojection_error.zip which is placed under Wirring's files
Are there any good explanations why this offsets occur ??
Thanks in advance
Erik Wirring
Hi Erik,
I looked at your problem and was able to reproduce with MicroStation SELECTseries2.
I also tried it with our latest development build and was not able to reproduce. This problem has been fixed already and it will be working fine in MicroStation SELECTseries3.

Pascal
This is an interesting case Erik. I have tried to verify that the WMS server does serve the correct data. I have converted one extent from DKTM3 into EPSG:25832 and did both requests side by side. The WMS server does seem to serve the correct data. There's a slight rotation but that's probably correct. We can at least eliminate that variable. I have also reprojected the dgn into EPSG:25832 and turned on DTK_Skærmkort - samlet.xwms and it falls in the right place. Now it's DTK_Skærmkort - samlet_DKTM3.xwms that doesn't fit well, in the other direction.
So, there does seem to be something weird going on. I do not have a good explanation for this. I'll get someone to look at it.
EDIT: Oh, Pascal beat me to it. Thanks Pascal.
Hi Martin & Pascal
When do we expect PowerMap SS3 to reach us, the users ??
