These can be set by a vba routine that runs and then calls the standard placement method of your feature. In the VBA code you would set a configuration/environment variable and then in the feature property definition, you tell the initial values to use this configuration/environment variable. The vba code then issues the keyin to start the standard placement operation for the feature.&lt;/p&gt;
