You can file a CR. Just file a Service Ticket and request the CR.

Can it be a CR that Benltey Map be loaded on demand while in MicroStation, like Decartes?

I don't think this is a good idea. There is also code in InRoads to properly initialize some components of Bentley Map that must otherwise be initialized at startup.

Here is the pseudocode.

Set the Bentley_Map config variable
Set the user configuration variable ( this is where Bentley Map starts from) ie msgeo.
Run the user config file found in step 2.
Load the BentleyMap MA
Reload the Design file.

I can't say this will work in your situation. This is from Bentley Map SS1 and not SS2, thus the process may of changed some.

Inroads ( and Geopak) basically do a workspace restart when starting up Bentley Map. They set the BENTLEY_MAP configuration variable and restart the application. You may be able to do this thru a MDL, I had seen some code on doing this, about 15 months ago, but I would have to look this up again
