I think you are using one of Bentley's GeoSpatial products, such as Bentley Map. Plain old MicroStation doesn't do Topology Analysis Tool or Thematic Resymbolization.

There are other Forums dedicated to GeoSpatial.

Topology Analysis Tool and Thematic Resymbolization Tool are not part of plain MicroStation, so are you using a layered application like MicroStation GeoGraphics? If so, was the latter used to create the centroids in "the old files"?

The Create Centroids tool place centroids only in Shape, Complex shape and closed Line boundaries. In my project for each centroid must meet its polygon. In the old files a several of centroid is erased. I want to automatically put centroid back in each polygon. If there ever will be need to change map information, then I will be able to delete the polygons and then to automatically repaint the polygons from the centroid and the lines. Each polygon and centroid have a Mslink. For polygon creation I use Topology Analysis Tool and Thematic Resymbolization Tool which need the centroids.

The question doesn't make sense. What do cell headers and centroids have in common? A cell header is a non-graphic element; a centroid is a geometric relationship between a point and a 2D or 3D object.
