I am working with map files in V8 XM and will be switching to Map V8i later this year. All of our current map .dgn files are set with a certain paper map scale (ie. 500,000). In my current configuration when I open the coordinate system dialog box I can see and edit the coordinate system, map origin, and paper scale. When I bring my .dgn file and open it with map V8i and open the coordinate system dialog box there is no longer an option for paper scale. Can someone tell me where the paper scale setting are now located? Thanks
Can you advise what dialog box you are using to set the coordinate system, map origin, and paper scale?

I am currently using bentley map xm. The dialog box is Master Coordinate System. There is no equivelent in V8i map. The key in to initiate this box is not a valid command in V8i as well.
However, there is a coordinate library in V8i map you can set up coordinate information but no place to enter Paper Scale. Building a new .dgn with V8i using the same coordinate information as an existing .dgn will place my data in the correct location, the only problem is my new scale is 1 instead of 400,000 like my old .dgn. If I reference these two files you can see they are not the same scale
Hopefully there has to be some way to maintain paper scale in V8i. If there is absolutely no way to do this, Bentley should provide migration solutions for customers that need to move from a defined scale, to a scale of 1.
Our biggest problem lies in the fact that we have thousands of files developed to a paper scale with dependencies set on working units and units of resolution (UOR's). On top of that we have secondary programs that export the .dgn file to ascii or bin formats which expect the file to have this same predefined scale. If we cannot find a way to maintain the paper scale setting in some way, it is going to be a very large project to document, mitigate, and transition to a new scale setting.
