I have several files attached for reference. When I detach all them in Microstation V8i SS2, it takes seconds. In PowerMap v8i SS1 it takes several minutes. Files have tags and tens of thousands elements. Where is the problem?

Those reference files attached are originally dgn v7 file format or perhaps dwg? As a test, I would suggest to set as a workspace variable MS_GEOXFM_NO_DYNAMICSCOREDFEATURES=1. Setting this environment variable disables the DFS (Dynamic Feature Scoring) system which add overhead by inferring feature class definitions of non-XFM feature instances (e.g. simple MicroStation or DWG elements). The use of the variable should be limited to those files which encounter the problem, and will detrimentally effect XML/XFM operation otherwise.
