Dear BE Communities members,

We are very satisfied with the performance and the administration simplicity of the database; we believe SQL Server Spatial 2012 is an excellent database for multiple applications involving geospatial data. The spatial data operates just like another data type, consequently it enables strong interoperability, increased scalability, simplified backups, offers greater enterprise integration and a more IT-centric approach to geospatial information.

The spatial capabilities have been greatly enhanced in SQL Server Spatial 2012; we particularly appreciate the fact that it now supports circular arc segments, which is critical for many of our users’ applications.
