Can XFM point-text features handle subscripts, fractions?

This might be a shot in the dark.  Is it possible to symbolize XFM point-text features that contain subscripts and fractions?  See for example:

Parents Reply Children
  • I have a text item displyed through PBA. Text could be like this "#1234 ADBD [I]", but its getting displyed as "#1234 ADBD ". After little R&D I came to know that whatever in square braces will be considered as COLUMN name of table and trying to fetch that value. Any help showing the [I] value as it is?

  • Hi Sandy,

    In Bentley Map Help file you can retrieve the following two notes about Property Based Annotation:

    1. A common way to include line breaks in the generated annotation text is to add the string "\010" at the position desired for the line break. MicroStation's standard text processing will automatically replace "\010" with linefeed characters causing a text node to be generated.
    2. To specify a literal square bracket in an expression, use the XFM specifierXFM_lbkt;for a left square bracket ( [ ) orXFM_rbkt;for a right square bracket ( ] ).

      For example: XFM_lbkt;[Occupant] : [Type]XFM_rbkt;

      is evaluated to: [John Doe : Private].

    I hope that helps,
