Bentley Map SS3 Data Browser, Sort, Filter

Hi Jeff,

I want to address this question to Jeff Bielefeld, I already raised this question during beta testing but unfortunately I was not able to complete the Beta 2 or before the released of the SS3 version of BMap. Using Data Browser is a very vital tool for us especially searching data from a huge database. Its been a long while since the birth of V8i up to SS2 Data Browser had not been able to deliver what we have expecting. In what's new in SS3 it says;

Improved Search, Sort and Filter Performance

For Oracle Spatial and Microsoft SQL Server Spatial database users, the "Data Browser" application has been enhanced to leverage the new Direct Data Access (DDA) technology that provides server side processing for search, sort and filter operations. With these changes, the "Data Browser" can now more efficiently search, sort and filter extremely large data sets using the speed and power of the underlying database.

We are planning to upgrade our SS2 to SS3 hoping that we can benefit from this improvement. We are Using RDBMS for Oracle not Oracle Spatial. Can we expect the same speed as to the Oracle Spatial for the search and filter options?
