Hello, we are using an internal web map service from an image server and have found that when printing, often a small (and seemingly random location) block of the raster background is missing (it has that camera with a slash through it). What could we do to ensure the whole image is printed within the printed area?
Thanks,
Mike Brennan
Hi Mike,
The camera with a slash means that the block could not be return by the WMS service. So the problem might be on the server side.
Does this problem only occurs when printing or also when visualizing the WMS in a view?
Also have you consider decreasing the raster quality factor (see more information here : communities.bentley.com/.../198615.aspx)?
Usually your computer screen resolution is much smaller than the print media resolution. In that case much more data from the WMS service is required for the print operation than for the display of the WMS in a view. Lowering the raster quality used for printing might solve your problem.
