I have imported WFS features into Bentley Map SS3. I try to pass this file to someone runnig Map (via InROADs SS1). They can use the analyze tool, but it only returns the geometry information....all other attribute data does not display. Works fine via my Bentley Map SS3. Can this data be viewed by the Map version delivered wish InRoads SS1?

To share this data with uses who may have versions of Bentley Map prior to the (SELECTseries 3) 08.11.09 release, you need to perform a "File > Save As..." and set the "Options > Save As V8 Options > XFM" settings as follows:

That appears to have fixed my problem with points and lines. Polygons did not convert attribute information for some reason. I can probably get by without attributes on Polygons.
I can see the properties for the lake near the intersection.
I was able to replicate the observed behavior after converting the design file to XFM V1 format. For example in the Boundaries_County_Polygon feature class the feature instances appear in the Data Browser as follows w/o their business properties.
I've filed a trouble report to have this issue resolved for the upcoming Bentley Map V8i (SELECTseries 3) 08.11.09 maintenance release.
While filing the trouble report, I performed some additional analysis and found that the feature names for the polygon instances appeared to be incorrect in that they did not match the actual expected feature name. As seen in the following...
...the feature name appears as "metaDataProperty" while the expected name should be "Boundaries_County_Polygon". Therefore could you tell me more about how these polygon feature instances were originally created? I suspect this could be contributing to the unexpected missing business properties after conversion.
Sorry it has taken me so long to reply. This is just WFS from an SDE feature class. Actually, if you look at the feature name for the lines (which do convert) it also says "metaDataProperty".
The unexpected "metaDataProperty" issue has been resolved for the upcoming Bentley Map V8i (SELECTseries 3) 08.11.09 maintenance release. With that fix the "Save As..." function will preserve the business properties of the polygon feature instances as well.
