Hi,
I have raster attached in background plane in my design model. When I try to draw my linear features (which are defined in geospatial administrator) over a raster i can see only line from the last data point to the mouse pointer. I cannot see all previously chosen vertices of line (Red line on the picture is visible only when I try snap some previously chosen vertice). Those vertices are snappable even they are invisible . I would like to know if anyone has the same problem and how to solve it?
I have to say that this is problem only for xfm features in Bentley PowerMap and Bentley Map, not for Microstation smartline/line elements, they are displayed normally during a placement over raster.
I dont know if you have found a fix for this yet, but if you open the raster manager box and see all the rasters as a dark black (meaning they are attached to that file and not a referenced file) then highlight it (or all) and on the far left there is a series of boxes that overlap (about 3) If you highlight the top boxes next to file name it will pop up a display saying "plane"
Now if you click on the boxes next to your highlighted raster it will open a box that has Plane at the top and then lists Background, Design, Foreground. Check to make sure that you have it in the correct plane you want. In this case you want it to be in the background.
Also, after you select it make sure you click Ok at the bottom or else it will not make the change.
Ah, that is effectively an interesting suggestion. If your raster display "on top of" your vector, that would explain it. Having your rasters on the background plane, or in the elements plane but on a lower display priority than the vectors, would possibly fix this.

Rasters are already on background plane and have lower priority than features so it is not solution.
Hello,
it is definitly an issue with XFM linear feature. It was reported to internal instances. Thanks to you to report us that behavior. It is appreciate.
Best Regards,
