I have raster attached in background plane in my design model. When I try to draw my linear features (which are defined in geospatial administrator) over a raster i can see only line from the last data point to the mouse pointer. I cannot see

RE: Visibility of linear features while drawing over raster

Hi,

This unexpected behavior will be resolved in the upcoming release of Bentley Map V8i Ss4.

it is definitly an issue with XFM linear feature. It was reported to internal instances. Thanks to you to report us that behavior. It is appreciate.

If your raster display "on top of" your vector, that would explain it. Having your rasters on the background plane, or in the elements plane but on a lower display priority than the vectors, would possibly fix this.

Now if you click on the boxes next to your highlighted raster it will open a box that has Plane at the top and then lists Background, Design, Foreground. Check to make sure that you have it in the correct plane you want. In this case you want it to be in the background.
