Is there a way to Create Report for symbology features in Geospatial Administrator, I need this to document used linestyles, cells, levels, colors etc. in my XFM schema. Or could I add this somehow to the built in report generator that already excist

Re: Is there a way to Create Report for symbology features in Geospatial Administrator

Excellent!!!!

I've updated the archive to include a folder containing all the images which should be placed in an "image" folder immediately beneath the folder containing the generated HTML page. By default the HTML page is generated in your system temp folder so the images should be placed in a %TEMP%\images folder.

Re: Is there a way to Create Report for symbology features in Geospatial Administrator

Thanks Jeff

Question: Is FeatureReportWithSymbology.xslt needed to be placed someware special to get the icons in the report, as you see in my report there is no icons. I created an new folder named "documentation" on a network drive and browsed FeatureReportWithSymbology.xslt through GSA File/report/run. The report works fine but no icons.

I added a "Project Information" section and posted the stylesheet here.
Perfect, but could you include:

<GeospatialSchema projectName="geo_example" schemaDescr="example XFM workspace" synchronized="2012-04-17 08:25:44"

as header text in the report so I know what the schema name is from where the report is generated.

Million thanks

I crafted an XSLT which can be run using the "File > Report > Run..." command in the Bentley Geospatial Administrator to produce this feature report, which includes symbology information. Does it have what you need? If so I can provide the XSLT source for further modification.

Re: Is there a way to Create Report for symbology features in Geospatial Administrator

Thanks Sebastien

Ok, I was afraid that there wasn´t any simpler way than just that answer :), so is there some examples how to create an XSLT template because I have NO knowledge about this. Or has somebody already created some templates and could share them so I could figure out how it works.

Thanks

I think you can create custom report by using custom template XSLT format. Then, you can use the template to run report in GSA by File > Report > Run...
