The documentation on Bentley Microstation Map v8i is obviously unclear. The given GUI asks for the schema, but if we intend to export our DGN to the CityGML, we cant as it gives an error message in the GML file generated!
The proof that CityGML is "supported" is given here: ftp://ftp2.bentley.com/dist/collateral/docs/bentley_map/What%27s_new_in_Bentley_Map_V8i_SELECTseries3.pdf

You've posted the same question twice.
Please confirm which product you are using. There is no product 'Bentley Microstation Map' — presumably you have Bentley Map?
Please also let us know the 8-digit version number of the product you are using.

Additionally to John's question, could you please define the workflow you tried as well as the FME version you have installed .
CityGML supports in Bentley Map requires the use of a valid CityGML schema (CityGML Application Template - referred slide 15 in the PDF you referred below) as well as a valid license of FME.
We would need more details of the error message. (What are the feature classes you used, which schema, which promote method..) and idealy a copy of your DGN.
It so happens that CityGML schema comes as a set of files. So do we give the zip file or a certain schema file. I used a certain schema file e.g. building, it doesn't work!
I don't understand your answer "I used a certain file eg. building, it doesn't work". The CityGML application templates comes with one XML file which is the unique schema for GSA, it includes the definition of all the features and additionally some MVBA macros to automate the conversion from CAD Elements to CityGML features.
Could you provide us with the GSA schema you used, the FME version, and the DGN that doesn't work?

Ben
Please answer my earlier question: what 8-digit version of Bentley Map are you using?
