Hi
I have been trough the ondemand lecture "Introduction to Bentley Map Geospatial Administrator" and Jerry Walter mentions several times that a issue will be covered in a follow more advanced lecture.
But I am not able to find any other course on GeoSpatial Administrator :-(
Where can I find that ??
Erik Wirring
Sorry, there is no courseware specific to the other options for the Operations and Methods. The geo-examples schema does show some of the more used options though ( VBA, MDL, etc.) I can assist, if you have specific questions.
Hi Jerry
Yes I known from your excelent lecture. :-) I am interessered in knowning more about the more sophisticated aspects of Methodes and Operation. When looking at the geo_example I can see that there is more to that than just the automatic created metadata
Regards
Erik
The methods and operations can be created automatically from each feature node, in the GSA. Select the feature, and then right mouse click to select Insert, then select "..... Placement Metadata". This will generate the Methods and operations from the standard library of tools that come with Bentley Map.
Hi Sebastien,
Thanks for the information.
But I was allready aware of that Wiki pages.
What I think I need some more knowledges about is setting up Methodes and Operations.
The introduction was a lead in to the standard Bentley Institute Bentley Map Administrator course. This course is available from the Bentley Learn Server. There are online lectures for each module of the standard course, which you can take one at a time, or pick the module you are interested in.
