Sorry for keeping posting questions, but I cannot find any documentation on this :-(
In Symology for a Annotation Text I have discovered that I can ad a "Annotation Attribute Offset"
It looks this when inserted:
Is that a possibility to enter a fixed placement offset for an annotation ?
And since the Criteria is set to 0 as a default, does that mean that it is not used unless the criteria is changed to 1 ??
Regards
Erik
Criteria is always being evaluated to either true or false. Then '0' means that this criteria will always evaluate to false, and thus is never used. I always clear out the criteria string ( linke the other symbology keys ) in this situation. You do not need to set it to 1. Clearing it out will allow the criteria evaluator to check this key.
As for the offset can you send me your XFM schema file ? I do not see this opption under 'Style' as you are showing. Also what version of the GSA are you using ?
Thanks
Jerry
Hi Jerry
I will send you the XFM schema directly since it contains some informations that I don't want to spread around
Hi Erik,
I see the Cadastre Annotation tool using this symbology item. Plus you can get the symbology item value using the C-API function xfmFeature_getAnnotationOffsets. Otherwise, this item is not used in Map placement or modification tools.

Erik;
Chris and I have discussed this, I have also reproduced this outside of the Cadastre wizzard. We agree that this key should not be showing up for configurations outside of Cadastre, so we are filing a TR fto get this fixed. For now you should just disreguard this Symbology Key as it does nothing for baseline Bentley Map.
