Categories and view subfilters.

Hello,

I test BentleyMap Mobile and have a couple questions about it:

How do I get the categories in View Filters dialog?

I want to have categories and tap to view subfilters?

Why sometimes it is not possible to display feature properites labels, although earlier it was possible?

Is it possible to publish the same model several times?

The Bentley Map Mobile Publisher process will automatically create "View Filter" groups using the "Category" information for all feature classes defined in the Bentley Geospatial Administrator application. If you are not currently defining a project schema using the Bentley Geospatial Administrator the creation of "View Filter" groups is not currently possible.

Could you please provide more details and/or sample data that illustrates the "...not possible to display feature properties label" issue?

In the Bentley Map Mobile Publisher application, there exist the ability to save the publishing settings for reuse at a later time.

Does that mean that the xml file which forms in GSA (include categories), can be opened with Bentley Map Mobile Publisher? I try it, but I get” error in XML document (2,2)”!

What is the meaning with GPS button in Bentley Map Mobile? When I click on it I get a message “You are outside of the map range. Turning gps off.”

Is there a way to get google maps or GPS maps on published model in Bentley Map?

Sometimes when I try to re-open the "settings file" which I previously generated, it is not possible to display properties labels. It is grayed out.

No. You cannot open a Bentley Geospatial Administrator schema XML file in the Bentley Map Mobile Publisher application. Using the Bentley Geospatial Administrator, define the required feature classes and categories. Then "Export" and "Run" the generated workspace. When you do this your Bentley Map session will know the categories of each feature class allowing Bentley Map Mobile to publish the appropriate view filter category groups.

The GPS button (e.g. "Show My Location" command) allows your position to be displayed on the current map. If your current position is outside the range of the map the GPS positioning is disabled. There are several factors that could cause this behavior. If you are able to provide sample a sample imodel and the source design file(s) that yield the unexpected behavior we can analyze to determine the cause.

No, not at this time.

This would likely occur if the feature class definitions for the active design file do not match those saved in the Bentley Map Mobile Publisher settings file. Again, if could provide sample data which demonstrates this unexpected behavior we can analyze to determine possibly causes.
