I-model creation error

Hi Jeff,

I'm using Microstation 08.11.09.578

I still get the error described in my first post if I select 'create a single package' when exporting the i-model from Bentley map Enterprise 08.11.09.107.

Is there another way to view attributes of a 'selected' element other than the element information dialog? The Items dialog doesn't give the option to query an element for it's attributes.

I've replicated the described behavior where the Element Information dialog does not always show the business properties. What specific version of MicroStation are you using?

Oh. I see!

I am used to looking for the attributes in the element information dialog in microstation. In this case they don't appear there but I see now they are listed in the items dialog. Which I admit is a much better way to view the data!

Why is that sometimes attributes are shown in the element information dialog and sometimes not?

I see the following attributes in the published LGate_076_testdata.i.dgn file. Which product and tool are you checking attributes with?

Hi Sebastien,

Thanks for testing. Sorry my information was a bit lacking.

The attached xml is the settings file I used for I-model export. ( single package, remove intermediate files). These settings cause the error for me.

I see now the default settings finishes without error but the attributes are missing. Why is that?

Using the provided design file and following products...

Bentley Map Enterprise V8i (SELECTseries 3) 08.11.09.107
Bentley Map Mobile Publisher 03.00.01.10

...was able to successfully publish i.dgn and Bentley Map Mobile .imodel files, each of which are provided in the attached archive.

Hi,

I do not reproduce the error your reported here with attached file. I used default Publish I-model dialog options. Which option are you enabled ?

Do you have right to create(write) file in the folder path which report the error?
