    - Reregister features when upgrading

The Register Features command in the Geospatial Administrator (GSA) that is delivered with Bentley Map V8i and OpenCities Map CONNECT edition often includes new features and fixes.  When upgrading Bentley Map to a more current version, it's always wise to re-register spatial features. Not re-registering spatial features may cause query and post errors.

To complete this step, open the Graphical Source in the GSA, right-click on the Named Connection, and select the Register Features option.  Follow the steps in each of the Registration dialog boxes to complete the process.

See the Geospatial Administrator Help File's Working with Spatial Databases | Defining Graphical Sources topic for more information.
