    - Introduction to Dynamic Feature Scoring

You load .dgn, .dwg, .dxf CAD data, or .shp, etc. into your Bentley Map environment and noticed a new Session folder into your Command Manager dialog. This is the result of Dynamic Feature Scoring (DFS).

By default Bentley Map applies Dynamic Feature Scoring rules and infers feature classes from non-XFM features which are typically standard MicroStation elements.

This default behavior can be disabled in your XML schema using setting the following variable: MS_GEOXFM_NO_DYNAMICSCOREDFEATURES=1

It can also be overridden with custom DFS rules if desired using the following:

    MS_GEOXFM_DYNAMICFEATURESCORING_FILES.

Once defined, you'll need to properly create and edit the .xml file linked to this.  This refers to the dedicated file where DFS rules are defined, not your project schema.
