The Place (Bentley Cadastre) tool box contains tools for placing nodes and boundaries.
The Place Node tool provides the following options.
Precision Placement - Precision Placement is the first option in the Place Node dialog. This is a simple placement routine that uses standard MicroStation Placement Methods.
Place on Boundary - Identify an existing parcel boundary to place a node on. Accept the boundary by placing another data point at one end of the boundary or the other at the defined distance from the closest intersection.
Direction and Distance - Direction and Distance will “hang” node(s) from the cursor at a direction and distance specified in the dialog.
DeltaXY - Delta XY is similar to Direction and Distance with XY values rather than bearing and distance.
Boundary Divisor - Boundary divisor will place nodes on a boundary so that it divides the boundary into equidistant segments based on user defined quantity.
Projected boundary - Projected boundary without the Copy option will “slide” a node dynamically along the boundary with the movement of the cursor and a data point will place the node.
Place on Vertices - Place on Vertices will simply place nodes on the vertices of an identified boundary and segment at each node location.
