Now it is too low for our tiles(1x1km) at M1:500 and M1:250 as lot of small details are lost or blurred. Mainly we need thinner lines and improve looks of cells as some cells ar lost. Two more questions, why the line weight is not consistent after publishing to tDPR, at someplace it is thicker and other place it is thinner？
Sometimes the dotted and dashline choose to aggregate, is it entirely automatic, is there a switch？

As an alternative, you can also change "<ScaleAdjustmentFactor>1,1,0</ScaleAdjustmentFactor>" to achieve the same result.

As a workaround you could try to add a startup macro(KeyinA) to your parameters file which would change this resolution on-the-fly depending from file range.
For example key-in: "print dialog;set printer printer.pltcfg"

RE: Improve tDPR resolution

Hi,

I have huge amounts of files with different extents ranging from 60*60(m) to 600*600(m).
Right now, I have to adjust "Max" paper size for each file to achieve the same line style and weight in tDPR conversion.
It is impossible to make justment to millions of files manually, and it needs to be done in batch.
So is there a way to just use one single "dpr.pltcfg" and make all the files have the same line style and weight after publishing.

As I understand, each file is maximized to paper size before printing, that why line style and weight is scaled correspondingly.
Do you think there is a way to make all the files to have the same scale(do not maximize to paper size)?

/Xin

RE: Improve tDPR resolution

Hello Oto,

We found a solution that will enable to improve the quality of the tDPR published display.

We can increase the resolution by editing manually a parameter in the dpr.pltcfg printer driver configuration file. The converter is using the paper=MAX and we can edit the dpr.pltcfg file located by default under C:\Bentley\GeoWebPublisher\Engine\Pub\pltcfg”. Search for the “MAX” string and increase the values in the Size tag, instead of 44,44 you can increase it.

I did a test with your data and it looks considerable better, the result seen below uses 200,200

You can download the test case from the following location bentley.sharefile.com/d-seefe83429284a839

I can replicate the issue as I have similar results as shown in your screen captures. I am afraid I have not found any workaround but we are looking into it further to see if a solution can be found. I'll provide an update as soon as possible.
