Problem publishing tdpr Raster.

After publish data to BGWP, some raster data create a black stripe at certain zoom level.

Have anyone encountered anything like this?

  • Hello Xin,

I saw an issue where a specific raster tile (tif format) was partially displayed, it had a black square covering part of the image, something that looks similar to this case. What made a difference in that case given that it was specific to one of the images was to recreate the raster image. I would suggest you to test this option, use MicroStation, open a DGN and attach the image from the Raster Manager. Then then do a ‘save as…’ to create the new image, use it to replace the old one and recreate the tRaster layer (or just create a tRaster test layer with this single image) to see if it makes a difference.

  • Hi,

After attaching the raster to dgn file, I got the same result when zoom in and out. part of the image disappear.

I tried to "save as" new file, but Microstation crash immediately.

I checked log file of the itiff conversion process using ImageConverter, it shows "R001 - Internal error".

I guess the conversion crashed somehow, only part of the image was rendered.

  • Hi Xin,

It looks like the raster is corrupted, that is the case when the ImageConverter fails to convert the raster. Are you able to display the raster correctly with any other application?

  • Hi,

When I change conversion option from TrueColor24 to Grayscale1, it fixed some of the files and there is no error log anymore.
However, for some files, it worked partially, which means with TrueColor24 , I see black area at two zoom level, with Grayscale1 only one zoom level is covered in black. And in this case, no error was reported, which is also a problem.

    /Xin
