How can I Post the new features (that be created new) to sde?

Hi every one!

I am a new member and I still have not much experience with using Geospatial Connector for Arcgis"
Now I have a problem need your help. Please help me to solve this issue.
This is all steps that I have did:
1. I had a *.gdb file in sde
2. I registed all features to Geospatial connector administrator
3. I created some more new features ex: text_A, text_B...
4. extracted some features from sde to dgn with Projectwise explorer.
5. In the dgn file I used place tool in "command manager" and placed some elements as "text_A", "text_B"
6. I posted all elements in dgn file to sde. but in sde i don't find any text_A or text_B feature
So what wrong in all my steps?
If I want to post these elements (that be created new) to sde, what are all steps I need to do?

Many thanks,
Ngoc

  • Hello Ngoc,

I think (If I understood correctly the workflow) that it is failing because the features are not created in the ArcSDE geodatabase but in the Geospatial Administrator (in step 3) and then they are not 'recognized' in the ArcGIS side when posted. Those features must be created first in ArcGIS and subsequently registered in the Geospatial Connector Administrator. In step 2 you registered all features residing in the ArcSDE geodatabase, and this must be done again every time you want to add a new features in the GSA XFM schema.
